Q. Can I buy similiar shelving at Bunnings or Mitre 10?
A. nzwardrobes shelving is far better quality (thicker profile high density steel and double epoxy coating) allowing us to provide a 25 year product guarantee. If you had to buy nzwardrobes products from Bunnings or Mitre 10 you would expect to pay double the price.
Q. Can the shelves be put higher than 2m?
A. Yes, if you do not want poles in your wardrobe organiser system then with the use of our specialized support brackets you can go as high as you would like.
Q. Can The Wardrobe Shelving Be Reversed Or Flipped Upside Down?
A. Yes they can, nzwardrobes quality shelves can be turned turned upside down and can be secured into place either way up. Please let us know if would like to do this so we can provide the right fittings for your installation.
Q. Do You Have Shelving Storage For Childrens & Kids Rooms?
A. Toy storage is easy with our wire basket sets. Shelving can be adjusted to heights for kids to reach.
And it your concerned with kids climbing up the shelves, our shelving is made from the strongest steel and heavy duty clip systems so your kids will be safe even if they choose to "play monkeys" and climb our shelves.
Because you can see through our ventilated shelving you don't need to guess what's on the top shelf.
For kids rooms storage we suggest using our basket set range for storing anything from socks to books.
You can extend the use of the ventilated shelving with the use of cube storage or plastic slide out bins.

Q. Do you sell garage shelving?
A. Currently we can design a system for you to suit your garage, but will soon be offering boltless shelving systems for garages and melteca shelving in our store.

Q. Does nzwardrobes shelving need to be cut when installing?
A. We custom cut the wardrobe system to fit the actual size of your wardrobe if you provide us with your wall to wall measurements when choosing a product. Alternatively you can choose a standard size (100mm increments) which can still be installed without cutting in most cases but in some cases these will need to be cut down with a set of bolt cutters or a hacksaw.
Q. Will my shelving be cut to the exact measurement I provide?
A. Your shelving will be cut to around 10-20mm shorter than the measurement you provide in order to allow the fittings that support the front of the shelves to fit correctly.
Q. I live at the beach and my ventilated shelving went rusty and marked some of my clothing, what type of coating does your shelving have?
A. You don't have to worry about nzwardrobes shelving rusting, we are the only ventilated shelving that is double dipped epoxy coated, we have been specified by architects to be used in coastal locations. It is not vinyl coated like you see in Bunnings and Mitre 10 that can chip and peel.
Q. How Long Has nzwardrobes Shelving Been Available?
A. nzwardrobes shelving has been manufactured for over 10 years; we have been wholesaling for 10 years and selling online for 5 years.
Q. How easy is it to install shelves and what equipment do I need?
A. nzwardrobes shelving systems are easy to install with little to no DIY experience. A Handymans drill, drillbits, screwdriver and level are usually all you will require.

Q. Does nzwardrobes shelving need to be cut when installing?
A. We custom cut the wardrobe system to fit the actual size of your wardrobe if you provide us with your wall to wall measurements when choosing a product.
We cut the shelving around 10-20mm shorter than the wall to wall measurement provided in order to install the fittings correctly. This will allow the shelving to be fitted without any additional cutting required.
Q. Can You Custom Design My Wardrobe For Me?
A. Yes we have design software that can produce a specific 3D Wardrobe design to suit your wardrobe requirements from single wardrobes to walk in wardrobe systems.

Q. Your Prices Are So Low Compared To Other Shelving Retailers Why Is This?
A. You are buying directly from the wholesaler and simply cutting out the middleman.

Q. How long will it take to receive my order?
A. Your order will be cut and dispatched via Fastway couriers once payment has cleared and will typically be delivered within 5 - 7 working days. If you have an urgent order let us know as we can typically get your order to you in half the time!
Q. How Much Is Postage?
A. Postage is a fixed rate of $20.00 to the North or South Island per order. Please note that this shipping rate is for mainland New Zealand only and you live on an island off the coast (eg. Waiheke Island) there will be a $60.00 deivery fee.

Q. Do you really offer a 30 day money back guarantee?
A. Yes we do, we will refund 100% of the product cost back if you are not satisfied with the shelving. If the refund is for change of mind we will refund the product minus the shipping cost but if the refund is for faulty product we will be more than happy to refund the total cost plus the shipping cost.
